One of Australia¡¯s all-time great singers, Barry Leef, has put together a new show celebrating the decade that defined classic rock - THE SEVENTIES.

Rockin¡¯ The Seventies grew out of the show Barry Leef launched in 2006 titled ¡°Doobies, Eagles & West Coast Rock¡± which also includes the music of Crosby Stills & Nash, Creedence Clearwater & Santana. This show, featuring Barry¡¯s nine piece band, has played to enthusiastic audiences for over two years, and continues to go from strength to strength.

But there was so much more to the Seventies than the music of those great bands alone, so this new show from The Barry Leef Band features a decade of hits from some of the best rock and soul acts ever, including all the artists above and many more.

These bands had hundreds of worldwide hits between 1970 and 1980 and have all become staples of classic rock radio over the past 25 years. Every song in the show is a proven favourite with audiences of all ages, especially those that grew up with this music, most of whom now fit the huge ¡°baby boomer¡± demographic.

Barry Leef has one of Australia¡¯s best known voices, having been featured on over 170 TV and radio advertisements during 20 years as Sydney¡¯s number one session singer. He has also fronted legendary Aussie bands Bakery and Supermarket, led the in-house band at Sydney¡¯s Musician¡¯s club for ten years, and performed with Frank Zappa, Elvin Bishop, Tom Jones and Jeff ¡°Skunk¡± Baxter to name a few.

This show features a line-up of Sydney's best musicians performing the timeless songs of an unforgettable era of classic rock. The band is ¨C
